The sea view was fine, but the air conditioning was a total letdown.

The location is fine, right on the beach where I could hear the gentle waves every night! The Beautiful Double Room with Balcony and Sea View offered a perfect space to unwind, and the breakfast was made to order, just how I liked it. I also loved that the owner cooked for us-his pasta was a good treat!

Friendly atmosphere with helpful staff members.

The hotel management was unresponsive to issues we faced. The air conditioning was unreliable, causing discomfort . The cleanliness of the pool was subpar, and the surrounding area felt neglected.

Southern star has a fine sea view and is super close to the beach. The room we stayed in, a beautiful double with balcony, was great. The staff were friendly.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Sri Lanka, located right on the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom that had all the basic amenities I needed. The hotel's attention to detail was evident in the beautiful view from my room and the delicious breakfast they served each morning. It was truly a great value for money, and I couldn't have asked for a better location right on the beach.

Our family enjoyed a pleasant stay on a stretch of beautiful beach midway on the highway. We loved the direct access to the beach and the stunning view. the room was comfortable with a large bathroom and the Sri Lankan breakfast was really delicious. the property was clean and the staff was friendly. We loved that the pool was open 24 hours, and we enjoyed the less crowded beach.

We experienced a lack of facilities in the room, including no kettle for morning tea and no television.

This beach hotel has a stunning view, with rooms that have balconies to overlook the sea. They offer guests a great breakfast and a nice dinner buffet on New Year's Eve. The staff was also really friendly and check-in was easy. the hotel is conveniently located near the train station and offers a nice pool and garden area.

The hotel was in need of some maintenance. The AC struggled to cool down the rooms and was quite loud, and the hot water wasn't always available.

Directly on the beach, I loved the opportunity to easily access the shoreline and take long walks in the sand. The hotel facilities were reasonable, and I enjoyed spending time in the pool area and garden. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly.

We had a wonderful romantic escape on the beach! the hotel overlooks the ocean and we enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing at night. the room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony that had a stunning view of the beach. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and juices. We also loved that the property had a pool and was conveniently located near the train station.

The Wi-Fi signal was weak and only worked in the lobby area. the bathroom could use some updating as there was no separate shower and everything got wet.

The hotel rooms were spacious and had a large bathroom, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.
